TPW number 5 took about 5 weeks to finish even with the lecy blanket constantly on. I did up the sugar a bit from 10 to 12 kg just to see what the difference in product & yield might be.

I'm liking the the product this 2" boka is putting out but a 47L run takes about 14 hours !! :scared-eek: but it is a good neutral as far as I can tell.

I have given my brother a few bottles of scotch & whiskey (essence & oaked cause that's where Im at in this point in time) which his wife has been drinking the scotch with water :handgestures-thumbupleft: .funny thing is her brother in law has been making them whiskey for some time now with turbo washes :puke-huge: , She won't touch his stuff now :handgestures-thumbdown:

so from the fed back I got from people who have drank our product I recon im doin alright for a newbie. Im happy don't mind the SS scotch sashes.
oops better go gotta change me cut jar.

Adding extra sugar to this recipe is a bit of a trap. Thinking you will get more at the end but it takes a lot longer to get there.
Stick with the tried and true recipe and you will achieve a happy balance.

Yep I found adding extra sugar just stresses the yeast and make more tails :handgestures-thumbdown:

:text-+1: I do think it's one of those things that you need to do yourself and experience the difference..
