All molasses rum through the inline thumper. Will be using Macs inline run strategy this time.

Then a neutral spirit run later this afternoon.

Today was a low wine head's and tails + cuts , had about 6lt @85% (roughly ), added 15lt water and set it off,
Pulled 150ml fores,
Then 17 cuts 250ml.
Only dropped abv at 15th jar ,
Stopped run at 85% , slowed to drip per sec.

I will try taste in couple days, still learning at this part.
I have a turbo wash going and about to finish soon, and will spirit run it (T500 here ,
Then rerun it with the spirit i took from the low wine run, this should help make probably my best neutral to date.

One other thing .The only time I have scorched my elements, wich required serious clean up with emery paper, and led to the loss of the spirit wich had a very foul taste and a slightly yellow green tinge, was doing 100% med peat smoked malted barley, have to admit I did a lousy job of filtering the wash tho .So keep a good eye on it.cheers hillzabilly :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Stripping my second generation of MacRum, after which I will get the 3rd gen going, and setting up some more TPW ferments as I would like to get enough neutral to try a gin run. Having a ball and learning plenty. Cheers.

Running a sugarhead whiskey fermented on the grain from my AG whiskey. This gen i thought id try putting a 2 ltrs of cracked corn with the barley and see how she turns out.
Ive also got some foam insulation around my boiler this run... see if i can get a bit more reflux without running 2 elements and hopefully stop my dropping Abv problem.
