A cleaning run after running a stored wash that got contaminated and smelt and tasted like sh1te.

However, to commiserate, I'm drinking my first effort of Macrum, which has been sitting since early October; man it's good.............. super smooth with heaps of flavour. ^:)^ :text-thankyoublue:

Yeah I have 5 days off work and 2 X Olive drums ready to go.

I'm trying to fill up a 50L keg full of hearts to do a gin run with different types of gin and chillies in the carter head.

Was going to do ABWB but ended up putting a Nutri grain wash on. Have a TPW bubbling away happily next to it.

Nutrigrain was my first cereal wash and is good, an all corn sugar head is cheaper to do and tastier to me - have look at the bwko recipe (next for me when gen9 of my nutrigrain finishes) http://aussiedistiller.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=6, none, either or both the grains can be swapped for corn if you desire, nothing to crush either :)

GIN :happy-partydance:
I've been making this for a couple of years, started off with blonde chaps recipe and modified it as I've gone along. Mods include: 3 cardamons, heaped teaspoon of lemongrass, 3 pepper berries, rose petals (whatever I find in mine or my neighbours garden), 1 lavender pod (this is the first time I've tried lavender), 2 mandarin peels, 2 grapefruit peels. I always make a sugarhead wash out of the spent grains from my AG beer mash (around 4kg grains added to 8kg sugar in 60L), adds a nice taste. run the lot through an all copper packed section. Comes out around 93-94%. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
