Who thinks the poms are going to get flogged tonight ?

If the Aussies keep bowling like they are it's going to be an early knock off :music-deathmetal:

You only keep the points from games that were played against other teams that make the next stage. I suspect that the Aussies just took their foot off a bit to make sure that the Poms net run rate didn't get too much of a hammering to make sure that they are a chance of progressing.

I hope Hazlewood doesn't get dropped, the fielders seemed to be trying to ruin his figures making him look bad amongst an overall great performance.

I was very wrong about how this tournament is running. Apparently there is no super six stage like previous world cups and it is straight into sudden death matches after the pool stage.

Australia needs to win today to make up for the point they missed out on with the wash out against Bangladesh. I turned the tv on at about 70 for 1 and felt comfortable, now it is 9 down for not many more and it could end up with us playing a much harder quarter final game than we wanted to.

I suspect that in a couple of hours we might be far more aware of the kiwis amongst us.

Ouch.

But it is a rare thing, and us kiwis always choke at the end.........

T20 fucked the one day game.

And, it will errode the test as well.

I should feel happy, I am just a bit sad though.

The English cricket team visited an orphanage this morning...

"It was so sad... The look on their faces, so hopeless!" said Sarah, a 6 year old girl at the orphanage.

RIP Richie

Mark Nicholas at the helm just doesn't feel right.

I vote the commentary team retire the cream, the bone, the white, the off white, the ivory and the beige jackets.

It just ain't the same.

Yeah the new breed of commentators dont come close to the old school style of blokes like ritchie and tony greg. I mean james brayshaw how did that dickhead get on tv hes complete douche he was such a crap batsmen punter took his wicket in a state game. Im ashamed hes a west aussie to :crying-blue: i think the golden age of commentry is gone even billy birmingham said a new cd wouldnt work with the current commentators which says something about the current crop
