I have been thinking about making a press, it would be a handy item. Never thought of a hydro ram that would do a good job. There isn't too much to them but it doesn't stop people asking ridiculous prices for them, hence my reason to build one.

I seen someone used a stabilizer jack, u know like the ones some trailers/caravans use for stabilizers? Looked to do the job! :D

yep seen them too , that would be easier and for the amount yad use it would be enough but... just thinking if I could get a ram cheap hmm wonder if an old power steering setup would run it or heres another biwyent idea how bout one of them old ajax wool presses lined out with some slats think I know where I can get one for fuck all
