Yeah I saw that one Goldie, been advertised for a few weeks if I remember, but that one looks like its been used as a fermenter with the airlock, and overall it just looks filthy compared to this one for the same price. I understand its more important about the inside, but I hate ugly things when I can have sexy things instead.

I went to have a look, and put a deposit on one of the ones in this photo, will be picking it up hopefully within the next few days. It works out so much cheaper than buying chips or chunks, and there is more than enough to try different ways of charring and oaking the spirit.

I got curious and wanted to see how much it actually held, so I filled it with water today and it took 4.5 litres until it flowed out the filler.

I would like one but not at that price, might have to go the lowball :)) and see how motivated they are to sell.

Bought a keg off this bloke on Sunday actually :-D
He's a top bloke, really nice, and it's not just the Airstill he's got laying around. ;-)
There's a few of people in the club and he's hoping for more members, he was keen on me joining but I don't think that I have the time and transport these days (plus I'm a bit of a loner on the sly really)
