Came across this in Helensvale QLD on Gumtree. Dunno what people normally pay for these but $120 for them all doesn't seem soo steep.

6x 6L wooden barrel
1x 5L wooden barrel
and a 4L glass barrel

I wish I was in QLD, I’d have the lot for that price. Someone is going to get a pretty good score.

So, does anyone have an annonomouse way of dobbing them in?
I mean as a ‘hobbyist’ concerned for people’s safety?!?!?

Probably get yourself in the poop as well!

But there should be a way that we can protect others and this hobby... just haven’t found the right way to go about it...

Looking at the rest of his for sale items it looks like he’s clearing out grandpas shed or a storage container. The dickhead has probably just guessed that it’s whiskey or vodka but who knows what abv, or does one bottle hold metho? :angry-banghead: feel like calling him and telling him to tip it down the drain

We don’t need to hate on this guy just yet, it might be an innocent mistake. No need for us to all troll him.
I’ll get a return call tomorrow I’m sure. I’ll let you all know the outcome. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Also not gumtree but last weekend heading into town saw a garage sale so just had to stop. Walked in the shed and theres an old 2 stroke leg rammer laying on the ground. So had to ask and the reply give me an offer as it doesn't run so I said $20 :laughing-rolling: then $30 :laughing-rolling: and he settled at $40 :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance:

Got it home and took the fuel bowl off to find the float was a tad sticky so duly got the 4" warding file out and filed in small slots so the float could rise easier. Drained all the old fuel out and put some fresh fuel and she fired up no worries.

Just had to test it out so hammered down the lower ledge from the shed for fun as it was already compacted and the motor didn't miss or play up at all. Been starting it daily and it fires on the first pull.

When I'm finished with may have to put it on gumtree for a tad more than I bought it for
