Suggestion for "packed section" in store

Postby Motard » Mon Sep 01, 2014 1:27 pm

G'day Mac,

I'm in the market for a packed section and after finding the post where you mention the aproximate amount of copper packing is .33kg per 100mm for a 4" i did the math and its 1.65kg of mesh.

That's a bit of a bugger... Do i buy 1.5kg and hope its enough, or should i get 2kg and have left over LOL.

It would be great if you had an option on the store to buy both together.

Cheers

I thought the math for a 4" 600mm packed section works out to be 1.98kg (6 x 0.330),

SORRY I thought his packed sections were 600, I've got no idea then

1.5kg would be 0.30kg per 100mm in a 500mm 4" section then...

0.33kg vs 0.30kg ? Image

1.5kg will get real close, if needed you could just pop a couple of SS scrubbies in the bottom :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Sorry I'm a bit slow today on getting back to emails, just been out getting some home security systems sorted & a quick check up at the quacks..... Will have lunch and get to all my emails in an hour or so :handgestures-thumbupleft:
