Linny,

Had these in a dipping sause at the local chinese restaurant. I think their genus is Capsicum Ringus Burnes.

They don't look like they're too hot, but (sic) they're the ones to look out for.

I bought one of these plants from Big W. They didn't have a name on them :roll:
Had one in a stir fry last night and they are pretty mild. I like mild as I like to taste the other flavours in my food as well 8-}

Made a HOT chilli sauce today with 4 Douglah chillis in. Only made a small batch so 1 small bottle.
Was disappointed when I cut all 4 chillis open to find no seeds at all. They are the only ones I have got off the plant at the moment. A few more have popped up so hopefully they will have seeds.
Tasting the sauce from the pot blew my mouth apart. Haha. Hopefully will mellow out a little in the next couple of days.

Does anyone have a good sauce recipe? I just found this one online to try.
http://thehotsauceaddiction.com/butch-t ... hot-sauce/
Changed the 10 scorpions for 4 douglah and halved everything else.

Got a burning buttload of chillies in this year. The manzano tree is in its third year now, gave it a hard prune a while ago and it has boomed with new growth and heaps of flowers opening now. I also have seedlings of the following : Trinidad butch T, oz brain killer, Trinidad yellow Cardi, Trinidad 9 pod, white ghost naga, habanero and Carolina reaper. Can’t wait for them to bear fruit!
Anyone else got some exotics in?

Nothing out of the ordinary. Butch T, Yellow Cardi, Reaper, Black Pearl, Bhut, Caysan and Jalapeno. Good crop of Scorpions last year and I gotta say those fuckers are hot. One of those munjied up into a ginger beer ferment and the whole keg is mine. Chilli shits from drinkin ginger beer. Unyet a ghost pepper just gives a nice tingle.
