No one picked me up on my maths....
I was waiting, waiting.....

260-270ltr of wash..... 80ltr boiler does not equal 3 runs. :-B :naughty:

I always end up with leftover wash.... so that is stored in a keg until the next ferment is done.
Then topped up to 80 ltrs from the new wash. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

:D :D :D

Fantastic build DBV!
What's you feelings on the keg boiler setup on its side now its been run a few times? Is it better than setup as a vertical keg?
Thanks kk

Hey Kiwikeg
Mate the sideways boiler was an experiment in keeping the height lower and getting a more stable platform.
In both those ways it is a great success.

If I was to do it again, I'd have legs on it like Woodduck's boiler.
But apart from that I wouldn't change much.
Maybe a straighter keg and with a good polish.
