I was planing on putting on 2 25L weet bix wash's today but when i went to the fridge i noticed i have approximately 40 grams of lowans bakers yeast. this is just a guess on how much i have in there as it looks like it is filled 1/6 to 1/7 of the way up the container.
If i split this up to approximately 20 grams per L and rehydrate (and use my usual method of a stick blender to aerate the water) would it be sufficient to start the wash and ferment out?
I assume if i aerate enough and rehydrate then this will allow a good breeding ground for the yeast (i have never rehydrate but watched how on YouTube). i figure it may work but be a slow start???
Chances of getting to the shops today is zip and i was hoping to get it on round lunch time.
any help would be appreciated :text-thankyoublue:
