When is right time to still my TPW?

Postby bender » Fri Jan 22, 2016 1:37 pm

Hi Distillers!

I have had my Tomato Paste Wash fermenting for a total of 4 Weeks, after the first 7 days reached the right SG level and stopped gassing.

Have left it for the last 3 weeks to clear and ferment a little extra as per reading through the forum posts.

I'm a little torn if its ready or not, I have heard light pink going on clear colour is good sign of time to put through the still. Obviously a couple other posts aren't so clear on when is a good time. Mine is more of a light golden/pinky colour closer to honey look. Can see about half to 3 quarters into the bucket.

Ill add a couple pictures and would be great for some feedback if it looks good to go or something is wrong or anything? Thanks again crew!

Looks ready to roll to me!

Nice and steady with good cuts, you'll love the results.
