Here's a vid I've done showing how to do an easy flange with soft solder and an LPG torch, YES it can be done :handgestures-thumbupleft: these flanges can be done on 2,4 and 6" pipe (maybe others aswell). They can be hard soldered of course if you prefer. You will see you only need very basic tools so pretty much anyone can have a crack at it :handgestures-thumbupleft:

viewtopic.php?f=41&t=76#p368I was a bit nervous so there was a bit of shaking and rushing and rabbiting on, it wasn't my best effort of making a flange but it will give you an idea of what's involved. It's very amateurish and I was working off camera a bit but hey it's not bad for a bloke like me :laughing-rolling:
I should mention that I did put flux on the top of the flange aswell as the inside, this is important to remember I just forgot to press record.
