To create enzymes for all grain is one reason. I thought once malted it may not need to be cooked...

Lowie is a beer brewing master and those type of fellas generally take to all grain like a duck to water, he would definitely know if it needs to be cooked. Some folk are just modest here on the forums ;-)

? Re reading My response comes over a bit rude. Not my intention :handgestures-thumbupleft: but then again asking if I had been sniffing something can be a bit rude also. I would think a beer brewing master/ distiller would know all about malted corn
