NIce productive day today, after spending the morning down the beach fishing and watching the kids go mad, managed to get the avo by myself in the shed.
I put one of those useless skills I learnt at tech 20 years ago for the first time, panel beating. Never in my life had I done any panel work until I wanted to dish a piece of metal for the outlet spout of the PC. Not a bad effort using a mechanics hammer on the utes tow ball. The noise certainly annoyed the neighbours, only belted this piece of copper about a million times. Still needs a bit of touch up & trim to size, but has a nice little curve, just needs the spout and short piece with easy flange for attachment to the PC.

I’ve got the blockhead macked up and ready for soldering.

Easy flanges complete now on the packed section. Should I solder in a couple of 1/4” pipe pieces to stop the packing falling out?
