G-day mate she is a sweet build ,with the large single bubble caps I have noticed they will not deliver the same ABV as multiple small caps ,the large single one's seem to be able to give a faster production rate when pushed and still not run dry,and finally the larger one's will allow more flavour to carry over (the small one's give more purification) so 5plates with small caps should give you AZeo but from my experience to get the same from large caps you would need to either run frigin slow ,go to 6plates or use a bigger packed section or increase the bath depth .I use small caps with packed section for purity and the large ones with no packed section for flavour.cheers hillzabilly :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Thanks Hillzabilly, you just cleared up some things i have been looking into, much appreciated.
Got another one for you tho or anyone else out there, do you really need to be pulling azero to make decent vodka and gin etc or will say 90-92% of a TPW wash do the trick.

For me the first step to fine spirits ,will allways be fine fermentations (no still produce's fine gear from shabby wash) well cleared out,run through a quality still with good consistent management, donot forget our ancestors made plenty of quality gear without ever hitting AZeo.My opinion is no it does not have to be AZeo to be good ,let your nose and palate have the final say,and realize that some of us like me have spent 10 plus years getting to a point that we are happy with ,as your experience grows so will the quality and consistency of spirit.Great expectations can lead to dissapointment and quitting when you donot realize them .cheers hillzabilly ;-)

Might work better if you put a completed pic in the for sale section and put a link to this thread :handgestures-thumbupleft:
