Something like this is only 1.05 each of you buy 96. 375ml brand new beer stubbies can be had between 25 and 37c each depending where you buy them.

Different jars are used for different purposes... when steeping lemon zest I use mason jars, ageing whiskey or rum 700ml or litre jars. 750ml clear wine bottles for a number of spirits in their final form. The sample jars 200 ml are so cheap I buy them from the LBS.... I prefer to clean all old labels off spirit bottles and attach homemade ones...
Anyway that is my preference... to me it show a level of care and professionalism towards making home brew spirits, exspecially when gifting.

I just use moccona coffee jars, fits about 600ml and purfect when the hearts are running, also got a dozen of 200ml dinking glass's from the $2 shop for the heads and transistion to hearts. Had a few breakages of the 200ml ones but I find after 1/2 an hour of reflux in my bubbler 6 of those 200ml is plenty and I'm well into hearts. As far as tails go once the second site glass goes foggy back into reflux to swash the tails and then less than 200ml when the tails do arrive.

We have spaghetti bollognaise about once a week in our house (easy meal for the tin lids) and the sauce jars make excellent cuts jars.
