Ive been running a pure distilling reflux and a pot and i cant stress enought the importance of doing cuts, regardless of type of still.
I've got a mate that makes vodka and I've been trying to encourage him to do cuts, but he still doesnt. He makes some rare stuff i tell you... especially when you know what it should taste like.
You wont get it perfect for a start, but it doesnt take long to work out where you personally draw the line in the sand for what is drinkable and whats not.
