Finaly got around to catching up with andrew and getting everything together.

I set it up today and give it a good cleaning run.

Now ready to give some recipes a try :happy-partydance:

To be honest, I've not actually had the time to run my carter head yet. What little spare time I've had since I got it has been spent on other projects or trying to get my absinthe right.

Absinthe sounds interesting. Let me know how it goes, Ive always wanted to try it. I even bought a woodworm tree a few years ago :dance:

I got sick of those cooling lines leaking :angry-banghead: So I ended up using the braided cooling lines again.

I also connected both the IBC’S. Now the pumps in the first IBC, the warm water goes into the second tank and both tanks are connected via the bottom valves. Hopefully I can do muiltple strip runs and spirit runs on the same day now.

Just waiting for some more rain to come and fill the tanks up a bit more

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.
