I think the rules allow you to post a pic of your still, you just can’t mention the manufacturer or post a link to their site.

Hillzabily, thank you for your kind offer, recent events have however provided a solution without me needing to do anything. I'm forbidden from using any further room in our outside area, but that rule only apply to me. My wife purchased a 2,800 ltr kiddy pool from Bunnings and has erected it metres from my needs. It's not filled to capacity but worked well, have attached a photo.

I ran the still on Sunday as slow as my patients would allow, the water volume worked a treat. Pool raised to 29 deg and my still ran slow and constant all day.

This leaves me with a couple of spare drums, I'll have to fill them with a wash and ferment something!

Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.

Clearly you haven't supplied her needs with nice clean neutral for G-Droppers and such!! First thing I made. Still the first thing I make every season!! Better than flowers at times. I now have permission to get a 20' sea container with AC :scared-eek:

BTW: the pool idea is certainly gaining momentum! :D

I had to google G-Dropper, turns out it linked back to this forum. Looks great, will give it a go.

Do it. One of the best uses for a load of spare neutral.

Also now in the winter you'll have a perfectly heated mini pool. Win, win!

It needs to be ACd otherwise it’ll be useless!

Good thing the solar power panels are going in soon... would have been a hard sell otherwise.

So did I. I like it a lot especially now I am producing nice clean neutral.

Boyz,
You need to get into the tried and proven!!! Soooo many good recipes in there that’ll expose you to a whole new world (those with young children will sing that line!)... so much fun to be had. So much fun to be given to the missus!! Be like a second honey-moon if you do it right...
