First Mac Rum

Just running first Mac rum after cleaning and sacrificial run. I am getting a little (very slightly) bit of discolouration (scum?) on my hydrometer. Not present when doing previous runs. Has anyone else seen this?

Stripping or spirit run? Strip run likely small puke..

- equipment: 2" pot with 2" shotty 400mm long 5x 1/2" on a t500 boiler.
50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

Stripping run

I am in bright sunshine so it is more visible

I would agree with a puke. If not maybe some cheap got in your parrot or still since you last used it?
