You'd need a 15A point to run a 3600W element.

Well 1st strip run using power done, using the 3ring gas burner i can do a strip run in a lil over 2 hours with the 2400w element it was 3.5 hours about an hour before i started to get the 1st few drips...

That is with no insulation, still looking to get some heat up time may be a lil quicker once i do...

Afternoon all, been a wile but still at it, had to take the barrel back to be fixed it leaked pretty badly and was sorted with out an issue.

Yes not ideal time of year for rum making, i have a heat mat and the temp sits around 32c.

My Q when adding DAP should be added and do i add more yeast again, so far i have had no real luck as yet gettin a 2nd jen to finish.

I try and read through the rum thread to find the info but i had no luck finding it.

I put this 2nd jen down yesterday the air lock has very little movement current temp is 32c

Any and all info would b awesome please...
