Do you guys have any photos for ideas of what your talking about??
I think it be a lot of work just to see cooling water, I've got a spinning flow indicator thats going on the wall

I think in the future I change the packed collum with a glass bubble plate section and control the cooling and have a 2x 2" inch 90 Deg elbows on top then a shootgun

It's a nice idea guys, but it's the wrong still, he only needs to cool his distillate, not knock vapor down... the liebig is best for this, it wouldn't cause any smearing as the multipath would without an even distribution of fluid to each tube

Not sure how cool a single copper pipe running trough glass tube would be, although another coil would work well.....

You have been given your home work for a plater build though :D

Yeah that's what I am thinking just a simple liebig will do the trick just want to cool it so I got a good reading with a parrot

Yeah bubble plate is the next project I was going to use the coil as the RC and build a shootgun for a PC :handgestures-thumbupleft: run the same boiler

So a mate gave me an old 2inch boka that he didn't want, so I reused the coil and made a pot still head to suit my boiler. Had to make an adaptor and cut it and put at an angle and install a probe thermo well

I think I am hooked on making stills and boilers lol

My PC all welded out and leaked tested and ran hard pipe to my RC pretty happy with it I ended up squeezing the copper pipe inside the cooler to slow the path down :handgestures-thumbupleft:
Also got some 5L demijohns to get height for the parrot

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.
