Hey people!

Say Hi and introduce yourself

Hey people!

Hi,

Not too sure what I am meant to put in this introduction post...

I have a T500 with both the reflux column and the copper liebig condenser. Made some okay neutral with the t500 and some great gin (imo) but I figured I would join here after lurkingfor a while so I can actually participate in posts and ask questions of my own.

Usually run a birdwatchers TPW because to me, the turbo yeast is nasty. I am breaking some taboos and using the ez plastic filter and jug but that will change once I get a bit more funding from the mrs!

Anyway that's all for now :)

Welcome mate, glad to hear you're getting rid of the plastic. Great start with the TPW. Check out the weetbix wash too, it makes a great neutral and vodka.

Gday mate, welcome to the forum. With good cuts you’ll be able to ditch the filter all together :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Welcome Lifelink.

:text-+1: on good cuts and not needing a filter. It is definitely worth exploring the cereal based washes for neutral as DB suggested. It's all down to personal preference of course but I much prefer WBAB over TPW.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
