Plan on going through my cuts tonight.
Got around the 3 ltrs roughly from 40ltrs of wash... went down to 20% Abv.
What flavours are you hoping to get from the oats beerswimmer?
I've got a bin of oats there so might have a go with some at some stage. Got some malted Rye there too that needs to be used up.

Dan what was your original recipe? The 40l is that what you put in at start or what you recovered?
dans.brew wrote:So i went through my cut jars and it turns out i got 2.85 ltrs @ 87% Abv. That was from 40 ltrs of wash.
Not sure if i did my figures right, but following blucs method the efficiency came up around the 90%.
Either way im stoked with the result and will be doing a few more ferments with this yeast.
Being that i really like to get the most from my ingredients, ive put the spent corn back in the fermenter with some sugar and we'll see what comes of it.

You've done a fair bit of AG, I calculate that to 40l@ 7.5% wash - how dose that compare with your normal methods for 10kg of grain?
