Bubbler tee section size

Postby virge » Wed Aug 26, 2020 10:02 pm

I am located in South Africa and here it is impossible to find 4" copper pipe in short lengths. I found a mate who will be able to bring me 150mm long 4" tee sections with 2.5" only tube size for the sight glass. Will 2.5" be enough to see any bulling activity?

More than adequate - after you stare at the bubbles for a few runs you most likely will only look in there to see how the plates are loaded once or twice a run

Thank you guys. I will tell him to bring me 6 pieces, price is 30 US dollars each. Should I go with 8 bubble plates? I am more into whiskey and fruit brandy. I will be not possible to find a ' copper or SS lenght for copper mash reflux section.
