For the most part they were seedless watermelons. However there were definitely seeds in some of the melons. All the melons went through my juicer first so seeds and pulp seperated out before fermenting.

My wife likes Midory which I always thought was watermelon but it seems not.

This certainly looks like fun.

I had a sneaky .5L of it......pretty bloody good. It just lacked the "medicinal effect" I was after. :teasing-tease: :laughing-rolling:

Where did you get your water melons in Brisbane i see some at 49 c a kilo and Woolworth want a dollar more a kilo.
Do not have transport and bring home on public transport may be a bit futile.

Sam Coco trading at 310 Ipswich Road, Annerley have at 49 c a kilo but these shops that advertise special buys what is not on special is not cheap to buy.
Seems that there are cheap pineapples about they have for 99 c and do have tops.

Have a look at Row by Row garden show on youtube shows how to grow watermelons and using drip tape may be best option as does not wet leaves and the water is applied near the roots and can help stop weeds if weather is dry.

Going to try and grow some watermelons as have not tried because i though they took up a lot of space like pumpkin vine but it looks like only need a couple of square meters for each vine and if plant non hybrid can save the seeds Warpaint (Crimson Sweet) seems easy to obtain seed and can get to over 10 kg.
