Lamb Chops with a mint breadcrum golden top

Postby rumby » Tue Aug 02, 2011 6:12 pm

My missus isnt much of a cook, (she is good at it) but the 4 years we have been together I have down most of the cooking (because I enjoy it).

Anyway she using fresh bread, mint jelly, garlic (add any other spices you like) plasters the mix ontop of lamb lion chops & bakes them for 45minutes. The shit.

I'm thinking the good other half must read your posts, only because of the "sucking up" you do in (brackets)

No she doesnt, but you can never be too safe, especially, if I want her to keep making it.

I only ever eat the little lamb lion chops, because the big ones are way to chewy and the little ones are so fuckn expensive, but chooking them in the oven over some water really softens them up. I will do some more sucking up & tell the missus the lads like her recipe. Going away this weekend and the camp oven is going to get a real work out. ( I just love building fires, for cooking purposes only).

Lamb shanks in the cook oven are awesome, I always cook with water in the camp oven & put the meat on a metal cooking thingy.
