Sight glass assemblies - boiler or columns

Postby MacStill » Wed Sep 18, 2013 11:03 am

I have had new stock arrive of the union sight glasses in 3" & 4" that have been customised to fit slip joints on copper pipe, they can also be used as fill ports for boilers and are easy to weld on due to the pipe section being lengthened.

Here's a pic showing the longer spigot for slip fit to expanded copper pipe.

Here's how they can be made to fit your plate still columns.

There's plenty in stock on the shelf in both 3" & 4" ready for shipping out, and all prices can be found on the 5 star website store.

Cheers & thanks for looking

I also have a huge shipment of custom seals on the way as of this morning, they are flat on one side to fit a sight glass disc to a ferrule with a clamp.

There's also plenty of new sight glass discs available in the above sizes, so I'll be making up sight glass kits that consist of ferrule, custom seal, borosilicate toughened glass & a clamp.

The custom seals will be available in 2" 3" & 4" and will be perfect for any application where a seal need to fit a standard ferrule to a flat surface, with the 2" being perfect for column to keg connections.

I'll upload some pics as soon as they arrive, hopefully by end of the week.

They are a top product Mac :handgestures-thumbupleft:

For anyone thinking about using these on a copper tee, they are very easy to install, look awesome and are very functional :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Stock of custom flat faced seals & clamped sight glass kits have arrived, these are now available in 2" 3" & 4" and will be in the store this evening.

The seals will be great for use as an easy flange seal, column to keg connection or as a replacement seal for other types of sight glass kits, they're also alcohol safe EPDM and rated to 250c

Plenty of uses for these EPDM seals, and they're nice and soft like silicone too.

Cheers.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that our custom flat seals and clamp sight glass kits (SGK's) are now available through the web store.
You can find them in either the tri clamp, or sight glass sections of the web store.

I have heavily reduced the prices in our web store on the SSG kits until xmas, I am way overstocked with these and need to make room for new products.

4" SSG are $65

3" SSG are $60

That's over 20% off on the absolute best sight glass in the business, these are the ones with the extended spigot for fitting to your boiler or plate still build.

All postage calculated in our webstore is for express post satchels with most of our orders processed within 24 hours of payment.

Once these are all sold I will only be keeping a limited number in stock due to the need for room for other items.

:o If you don't have a fill port get one of these! They really are the best quality, and you can't pass them at this price.
