Hi folks,
Just got my first (temporary) heating element, and being a Keg King naturally the 32mm hole I have is slightly too large for it. I'm looking for a temporary fix for the problem, and am looking into additional o-rings to help seal up the hole. Wondering what kind of seals would be allowed in terms of coming into contact with a heated wash - I did find this resource http://www.efunda.com/designstandards/oring/oring_chemical.cfm?SM=none&SC=Ethanol#mat, although am still not sure what the recommended 'norm' is... Other than steer clear of KegKing, which won't be a problem once my element from Mac comes in the mail and I get it wired up ;-)
:text-thankyoublue:
EDIT: I've heard teflon tape might be useful for my temp fix as it is PTFE, supposedly alcohol-friendly, was just gonna wrap loads around the element thread to increase its diameter for time being... Any input is def welcome :)
