I bought some of this stuff a few months ago off ebay - it arrived today already opened by ABF - they just slit a hole in the side of it, so it's leaking everywhere.
Thanks

Got some in the mail the other day too and had the same problem.. someone needs to teach them how to reseal a package
They even had the cheek to put a note inside stating no contents had been removed... seriously, the stuff was running out the black post bag :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead:

So my corn mash fermented out as expected but this all barley one I am doing has crazy krouzens on top at the end of each day. Today it was like a thick paste. Maybe over done it with the barley? 6kg in a 30 litre fermenter.

Wrong pic,

Not a problem if stays in the fermenter but if problem just scoop some into a container and return later when settles down.

Great. Have the corn and barley one running through the bubbler now. See how we go, only got about 35 litres wash in the end

Back in June I ordered some from an "unwelcome advertiser" which stated a 24 - 49 day delivery.
Couple of days ago (59 days later) I followed their tracking only to see that the vendor, at some stage, had cancelled the order !
Had to make a claim for the refund which wasn't a problem but was a bit pissed off that they didn't inform me or give me the refund at the time.
Such a long wait, think I'll just keep following the results here & get some down the track sometime.

Well looks like I got around 7% from my wash. Was only a 35 litre charge and the bottom glass was fogging almost straight away which was different. Lots of tails. Ran it down to 80% taking just over 2 litres. Will see how she tastes tomorrow after airing

Right. Doesn’t leave much liquid then? Might do a bigger ferment once the weather warms up. I can only fit 2 30l fermenters in my fridge

Thanks for reminding me. I've been waiting 2 months for my delivery too. Just logged on to track package to find it has been cancelled by seller. :angry-banghead:

We're these cancelled by the seller after a tracking number had been supplied? Gotta keep an eye on mine, says "sent" and has a tracking number..
Thanks,
Ash

Yep, mine had said it had been despatched pretty soon after I'd ordered it & they supplied a tracking number. Tracking showed nothing else so I stopped looking after a little while. Then at 59 days I looked again & it said that the seller had cancelled the order! So then I had to start a dispute so I could get a refund (sent them a screen shot of their web page that said the seller had cancelled, had the refund the next day).
