Rolled oats

Postby Dancing4dan » Fri Apr 02, 2021 1:59 am

I added toasted rolled oats to my last mash/ferment of 15 lb flaked corn and 13.5 lb Pilsner malted barley with the hope it would smooth the mouth feel of final product.

It made a huge difference! Very happy with results. To be honest at two weeks old the mouth feel is like a whisky that has been aged for a quite a While.

Two pounds. Toasted in baking sheet at 350 until they turned a gold colour.

Sorry for missing that information in the original post. I might have been doing “product sample research”
