:handgestures-thumbupleft: and I can only do it in winter up here. :crying-blue: apparently corn like it warm so may be my summer thing. Get enough barley over winter for year..I am using feed grain also cant see point in spending same for "unmalted malting barley" as you do for "malted barley" then malting myself. My whiskey may end up more irish then scotch (and burbon of course)but meh Im sure it will still be mighty fine
Anyway.. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Lol
Love you style Bluc, I may be able to exactly replicate things but I am sure it will taste good. My niece is married to barley farmer, malting grade barley, and she gave him a hard time about not giving me some. I saved him by saying he would spill more than I use and until I was ready to handle a tonne of the stuff there was no point discussing it as he had no way of handling small amounts. But it is definitely an option

Bonus. I will have to do at least half tonne in one go(floor malt) at least once just so I can say I have.... :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Next time round I think I will invest in a electrified rodent proof fence and floor malt....
