Would be risky I reckon, sure probly doable but once they get hot and something goes wrong it won’t be pretty. All depends on what your happy with, many be a bit more patient and wait till you can get what you want to do it all safely.

The Stig will know for sure, but the strength of your boiler to support the weight is the issue I believe.

I think you will be astounded at how well the 5star gear is built. It is rock solid and weighs quite a bit. I think a lot of the pulls etc are in place to help with the actual lifting of the gear.

It will work but you need to take some of the weight by either lifting from below or strapping from above .
The weight will want to pull the lid off so taking the weight off is the only way .
Having said that , plenty of guys have done it and used it as a starting point to grow into a full bubbler

Hi Spot On,

I use one of these Bunnings pulley/ratchet ties for my 2" FSD Pot Still and Boka on a 30lt boiler.
Very simple and peace of mind in case a wind gust rips through my back patio or for lifting up still and boiler lid for filling.
I use it with some light chain around the stills.

Enjoy mate, I sometimes run a 2" pot on my 35 brewzilla when stripping or spirit run on small batches! Edit: Lid takes it fine.
