Postby bt1 » Wed May 02, 2012 7:14 pm

Howdy,

Got this odd issue with IE9 web browser. I log on it confirms successfully logged then rolls me back to the logon page.

Any quality advice would be welcome.

have it as a trusted site, security settings are default...was working 2 weeks ago now =fail

Can log on with Chrome without issue.

cheers

The simple answer is, dump IE9 and get FireFox.
The long answer is, MS in their wisdom did an IE9 update and many sites are suffering and the chance is in a few days there will be another update to fix their own fuckup.
So, either FireFox or roll back to IE8 and block the update that forces IE9 untill its been around for some time.

...and a less polite answer is F#ck IE9 and Microsoft using people as their beta test dummies.

Firefox :handgestures-thumbupleft: IMHO too

I too have this error occassionally, and there isn't a "fix" aside from using firefox instead.

I will log back in the next day with internet explorer, having not made any changes to any settings, and it works fine...so go figure...

Blokes,

Fixed this access issue.

From Open IE9 from Tools menu click Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab .
Click on reset button.
I then also restored Advanced Settings on same page...good as gold after a restart of IE.
