IBC Water Tank

Postby Shaun » Tue Oct 13, 2020 12:42 am

I plan to make a change to my water cooling and get a 1000l ibc, just a question or 2, what type pump should i use? i currently have 2 200l drums with a 750w pump in one of the drums at the bottom.

Does it need to be food grade?

The water you use to cool does not come into contact with food but needs to be clean and not cause corrosion.
The water in the IBC Water Tank will turn green if exposed to the sun.

If your talking the 750w submersible pumps that will work fine in your IBC, might have to cut the lid a bit bigger to get it in tho.
