Just wondering if it is a good idea to store spirit @v40% in capped beer bottles?

One can buy bottle caps for wine bottles that have a silicon seal pretty cheap and for keeping my feints I just use longnecks with those caps and a clear label of whats inside. As one wouldn't want 1/2 sozzled think that longneck had beer inside and going for a skull of the contents will sure make a mess in a heap of ways :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

As far as using the beer bottle caps I wouldn't be too sure about the seal they use so thats why I bought those wine bottle caps.

If you know the right bloke at the local it can be a great source of bottles... and spirit ones at that. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
