To filter or not to filter... that is the question

Hey legends,
I have previously ran my turdbo spirits through the SS carbon drip filters after distilling.
They recommend a new carbon filter every wash (or when it dries out pretty much)

Im now doing WBAB washes and am double distilling my spirit.

Do i still need to carbon filter it? Pros / cons? better options?

Cheers guys :handgestures-thumbupleft:

If it is double distilled just do proper cuts and you will be sweet. No need to filter.

Sweet I was hoping not having to filter would be the go!

Would that be the case for other washes? TPW , Kale etc? double distill = no filtering required?

Thanks guys

Thats correct.

Are you using an airstill? Thats gonna be tough for cuts, maybe 50-100ml each jar :o

The way to look at is if you are running everything and not taking cuts you are then filtering to try remove nasties. If you do cuts you simply omit the nasties from being added in the first place.
