What water do you use to dilute your spirits?

I've got a 2 cartridge water filter that I use for all drinking and cooking water.
Even though my tap water doesn't taste too bad from the tap, I still prefer to use the filtered water.
Some say that bottled water from the supermarket is better.
Distilled water, maybe.

What's your preference and why?

Cheers,

As our water tanks are cleaned every 3 years by a family friend our rainwater is all I use to water down, do ferments etc even use rainwater to top up the forklift batteries we use for power. Now we are far enough away from the burbs and pollution from the city and our rainwater has been tested as one of the best in the hills :handgestures-thumbupleft: Trying to this with roof runoff in a town is no go as simply the fumes from vehicles is enough to taint the water.

There are various ice stations around the town 7kg for $4:00 that have started selling filtered water 15 litres for $4:00 can justify spending money on a filter at those prices
