Slower Stripping Run

I've got a corn flakes whiskey wash almost ready to run.

Would there be any advantage to do the stripping run a bit slower than a 'hard & fast' run?
I'll be using a pot still.

Cheers,

No you want to pull all alcohol out but want to push plenty flavour tails/ heads over with it...even though you cut the heads tails out they still influence the hearts and help to form esters. If you run slower you lose some of the congeners..
Main reason for stripping is to seperate out, get rid of, bulk of the water.

Thanks for the info.
Just learned something new.
And they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Does that mean a slower stripping run for a neutral would be beneficial.

Yes or a higher reflux ratio. When i strip for neutral i take spirit at 90% ish. Then an on the fly heads tails cut remove the bulk.
Then long reflux before bleeding heads. Then adjust to around 2.5l/hr. As usual collect in seperate jars i do 300ml jars because I do a large spirit run..

Oh i water back to 20% before spirit run. Less flavour in less flavour out..
