Filtering a molasses rum wash

Done a stripping run and will be ready for a spirit run once that is done is carbon filtering needed or would that remove some of the flavour

If your profile is right and your running through a T500 , you e all ready stripped a lot of flavour out.
But yes a filter will remove heaps

I’ve done a stripping run with a alembic dome top I was loaned will be doing a spirit run through it as well

Mastering the cuts procedure is essential if you want to make good tasting booze. You won't need to filter if sticking to the method mentioned in the thread above.
