distilling conditioner

quick question. is distilling conditioner really needed? If yes, is there a home made alternative??

Depends on what you’re running and how it’s been run.
You can replace commercial conditioners with a dollop of butter or olive oil in the boiler

Ok, thanks Stig. i use a t500 making whisky. i'll give the oil a go on the next run. Thanks again.

Carful of choice of oil bran oil carries over. Cream works and is neutral more neutral then butter..

Why are you making whiskey in a reflux still.... :think:

50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section
