Crushed corn /Cracked corn

Postby gavogr » Wed Sep 05, 2012 11:46 am

Hi there just wondering if Crushed corn is the same as Cracked corn?
I rang my local fodder store today to see if they sell cracked corn, he said yes we sell crushed corn. 5kg bag for $10
I haven't been to look at it yet but thought i would ask the question before i went and bought some.
I was planing on doing the tried and proven Bourbon knock of recipe
Cheers
Gavin

I called my local grain store and they quoted me on crushed maize which is the same thing as cracked corn they tell me. I managed to get it for $17.50 for 20kg and it's working fine with ujsm.

The feed store near me has it listed as "Sliced Corn" or maybe "Sliced Maize"

Cheers

Just make sure it is preservative free - otherwise it won't sour and you'll end up making a sugar wash rather than the sour corn wash.
