Keeping the packing inside of a Boka

Postby The Pope » Thu Dec 08, 2011 8:53 pm

Im new to distilling and just purchased a 2" Boka.
Now how do I go about keeping the stainless scrubber packing in there? Bit concerned that when doing a run if the packing falls inside the keg boiler I will have a hard time getting them back lol

Any ideas?

bit of thick SS wire to make a spring clip type thing
or go get a MEGA scrubber and dont tease it out keep it round , it will hold them in.

sounds like maybe it has the really small scrubbers in it ? the big ones dont fall out if stuffed in, well mine dont

The bottom of my column above my threaded nut has a copper plate with holes drilled in it. No scrubber falling through it.
