36% In a fermenter for 15 minutes

Postby Heffers » Sat Jun 25, 2011 1:03 pm

G'day guys,

Switched on the element in the keg this morning and the fucken thing blew up, sparks and everything. Anyway I had to transfer the 36% low wines that I had in it so I could change the element out. Being the only things that I had, I transferred it into two plastic fermenters. The liqiud was in them for a max of fifteen minutes and then put back in the keg.

Liquid was cold and is now being distilled. Do you knowledgeable bunch reckon that it will be ok for consumption? My feeling is yes it will be fine but wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Cheers, Heffers

Where's the boxer emoticon when you need one.

Thanks for the reassurance Spud, I was thinking the same but just wanted a sanity check I guess.
