Busy day running 2 WBAB washes and mixing 2nd gens.
So i thought I'd toast some oak in the oven .
Put some on a tray set timer go back brewing.
Wife says somthings burning, shizen stuffed the timer setting smoke billowing out the oven. :law-policered:
So i have 2 cups of charred oak i mean nearly black.
Would it still be ok to use these chips ?

If there is any oak left it will still be ok but if it’s complete charcoal then it would be more like a filter :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah didnt think i would be the first.
Still plenty of wood on them just very dark.
Still copping grief over stinking the house out . :violence-smack:
