There are 2 cooperages in Brisbane, one in the “inner” northern suburbs and one at redcliffe. These guys are the real deal and custom make and char barrels. I am sure there are many others around the country.

It was only a few months ago while galoogaling locally made barrels I found a barrel maker is called a Cooper.

Lol, and all these years I thought a Cooper was someone who built chook sheds :laughing-rolling: :teasing-neener: :O) 8-}
