Has anyone use "Matador 3kg Apple BBQ Smoking Chunks" from Bunnings to age on wood?

No mate I haven’t. I always use 5 star dominoes as I know they work and are consistent. You would need to toast the chunks and the chunks often have lots of end grain

Hey,
Not sure if you can by apple dominos anway but yeah I've tried the apple chunks from Bunnings.
They worked fine for me, cheap way to test what it's like to put somethign down on apple. If you haven't tried apple, it is a different flavour leaving you with a small apple core like undertone that isn't for everyone. I personally liked it, especially with my banana rum. I called it fruit punch in in the face.
I toasted mine, then charred it for a little extra flavour.

cant go wrong with five star dominoes
theres so many other variables to play with
but if you could get sticks of apple to compare would be good
