WBAB + Still Spirits Bourbon Staves

OK, so I'm a complete dunce when it comes to brown spirits but I have a 200g bag of Still Spirits bourbon staves that came with my t500 when I bought it and a few batches of WBAB almost ready to run and I'm thinking I might as well put the staves to good use. The info on the packet of staves says to soak 100g of them for every 1125ml of spirit for 7 - 10 days then add flavour essence. I'd rather not use essences so I thought I would run the WBAB through the pot still and stick some of the staves in it but I'm not sure how many to use and how long to leave them in. Anyone got any recommendations?

I think I ended up with 5ish litres of hearts I put in about 8 dominoes for about 6 months and it turned out pretty good. I though I might have put too many dominoes in but I just kept checking it and it didn't over oak at all. I don't know what flavour to compare it to but it is very smooth and easy to drink. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
