Special Chocolate Sauce

A chocolate liquer at roughly 27% A/v

700 grams cocoa - (2 packs woolworths homebrand = product of Germany - nice bavarian chocolate)
4 Kilos white sugar
1 jar treacle (650 grams?)
half bottle of port (400 ml)
1/2 teaspoon real vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Add water to make up to 13 litres of liquid

then add 5 litres pure alcohol (96.5 % in my case)

Needs to sit for a couple of days for the flavours to blend properly, then filter the cocoa back out.

Should turn black if filtered properly.

Keen to give this a go. Maybe on 1/4 scale though. What type of port do you recomend? Tawny?

Yep, cheap tawny port in a cardboard box.

It's the fruitiness you're after, really brings out the chocolate.
